April 04, 2016

Harris County Emergency Corps (HCEC) paramedics Rafael Galvan and William Tillman were recognized by the Atascocita Volunteer Fire Department (Atascocita) for their work during a mutual aid call with a patient in respiratory distress that ended up going into cardiac arrest.

Both the Atascocita EMS Captain and Assistant Chief said “the level of professionalism and care given to the patient and the family were shining examples of the quality of medics that we have come to expect from Harris Country Emergency Corps. Their actions demonstrate professionalism and dedication to your service, the communities that you assist and is a perfect example of a model employee and a credit to your department.”

Atasocita asked that Galvan and Tillman receive commendations in their service records. HCEC’s executive team recognized the medics for a job well done, and thanked them for their efforts that exemplified the organization’s goals and values.
